The study focuses on Turkish migrants of the second generation, who were born in Turkey and currently live in Austria, who are now at an older age, which can lead to an increased care and support effort. Initially, the validated German-language questionnaire for the assessment of functional health (F-FG2) was translated into the Turkish language (F-FFGtür) using the ISPOR principles. The translation process of the F-FG2 into Turkish (subsequently F-FGtür) was carried out in 5 process steps. Further process steps were: feasibility and usefulness evaluation of the F-FGtür in the course of Cognitive Debriefing and adaptation of the F-FGtür in terms of layout and scope. By means of the translation process a standardized, comprehensible translation of the F-FG2 into the Turkish language was achieved. The Cognitive Debriefing demonstrated that the F-FFGtür is clear and comprehensible in terms of content.
